SFB NewsSFB Announces 3 new Board members

The SFB is pleased to announce the addition of three new members.  First, Rick Holley, President and CEO of Plum Creek joins the SFB to replace Colin Moseley, from Green Diamond Resources Company.  Mr.  Holley has worked for Plum Creek for over 20 years and became the President and CEO in 1994.  Plum Creek is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), and has been an SFI Program Participant since 2002.  Plum Creek employs over 2100 people in 18 states.  Next, Marvin Brown, Oregon State Forester, will replace Gerald Rose.  Mr.  Brown has worked extensively as a professional forester in both the private and public sectors.  As head of the Oregon Department of Forestry, Brown administers the agency under policies set by the Oregon Board of Forestry.  He is also the past president of NASF and the current president of SAF.  Last, Mary Motlow will replace Skeet Burris as a representative of the family forest landowner community.  Ms.  Motlow is the Vice President and COO of the Cumberland Springs Land Company, located in Lynchburg Tennessee.  Mary is a certified tree farmer since 1990, achieved Master Logger certification in 2001, and is active in the Tennessee Forestry Association. 

The SFB would like to take this opportunity to thank the out-going members, Colin Moseley, Gerald Rose and Skeet Burris.  All three have been involved with the SFB since its inception and have provided integral guidance and knowledge over the last 6 years.
